America's Most Wanted - Kleiman Case Profile

 

 

 

The Ulster Police Department is seeking additional information regarding the

murder of Michael Kleiman that occurred between July 24th and 25th, 2008.

Mr. Kleiman's remains were recovered from his pickup truck which

had been parked and burned on the property of the old Hudson Cement Plant

in the Town of Ulster. The Ulster Police is interested in information

from anyone who may have made observations of someone displaying

any of the following behaviors immediately after July 25, 2008.

Unscheduled absence from work
Missing scheduled appointments
Abrupt departure from the area; either temporarily or permanently
increased use of alcohol or drugs
Abnormal interest in media coverage of this murder and the corresponding investigation

Additionally, police would like to hear from anyone who may have unknowingly

provided the offender with transportation away from the East Kingston or from the town's

business district area on July 25th around 1 PM - 4 PM. The Ulster Police is

working in conjunction with the New York State Police and are

assisted by other area agencies in resolving this crime as quickly as possible

and is receiving assistance from the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit.
